Occasionally, NeoGeo Pocket Colors go out with their screen badly set up - either too dark or too light. The NGP didn't have this problem, as it had a contrast dial. Fortunately, so does the NGPC! Remove the battery cover, but there's no need to remove the batteries. You'll see a small POT (looks like a flat head screw) at the bottom of the pit where the battery cover's clip sits. This is the NGPC's contrast dial! Grab a screwdriver, and use this to turn the screw in either direction. If you can manage it (it's quite easy), flip the NGPC over so you can see what you're doing, and set up the screen to your desired contrast. Note that while the NeoGeo Pocket Color will play any NeoGeo Pocket (B&W) games, there are some games that the NeoGeo Pocket (B&W) will not play; for example Sonic and Match of the Millenium.
